Mr Barneveld was appointed Product Director eBusiness with TNT Express in February 2001. TNT Express is a division of the global company TNT Post Group (TPG) and is a world leader in the express distribution market. TNT is headquartered in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He has held positions in the transportation and logistics industry for over 16 years and has worked in Europe, Africa, Middle East & Australia. Prior to his appointment, he was a member of TNT Post Groups eCommerce initiative, TNT Loop (www.tnt.com/loop) where he was responsible for the back office requirements that include logistics, distribution, customs and customer services. He has also held senior operational and general management positions within TNT. Mr Barneveld has a Bachelors degree from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
