Bjorn-Erik Willoch is CEO of the 5.000 strong Cap Gemini Ernst &Young management and IT consulting and service organisation In the Nordic region. His background includes an upbringing in South American as the son of a Lutheran missionary, degrees in electrical engineering and business administration and several years with Exxon Corporation, a multinational oil company as well as smaller, entrepreneurial organisations. His consulting career began in 1986, and he was one of the pioneers of the Business Process Reengineering concept in Scandinavia and Europe during the late 80īs. He has been involved with large-scale Reengineering initiatives in multinational industries ranging from heavy process (oil, chemicals, paper, steel) via trading and retailing to the service sector (insurance, banking, travel), and currently concentrates his consulting work on the Implications of the Internet, Connectivity and Mobility on business processes for multinational organisations. Bjorn-Erik Willoch addresses audiences totalling thousands of people every year on change leadership issues, and is the author of a best-selling Scandinavian book on Business Process Reenginering as well as hundreds of articles on the above topics.
