Mr. Lamborghini was appointed Chairman of the OECD-BIAC in May 2001. After taking executive responsibilities in Olivetti, since October 1996 he is a member of the Olivetti Board of Directors and since April 1997 Chairman of Olivetti Tecnost (previously Lexikon). He is a cofounder and Chairman of EITO (European Information Technology Observatory), the most extensive overview of the European market and industry of information and communication technologies. As an industrial economist, he is a professor of Net Economy at the Catholic University of Milano
