On graduating from Napier University, Edinburgh with a Degree in Finance, Norrie joined the Michael Page Group plc., a leading international recruitment company. Based in London for five years, Norrie gained an extensive knowledge of recruiting senior level finance staff for leading UK blue chip companies and multinational organizations and European and US investment banks. Norrie joined Nicholson International in September 1995 to specialise in executive recruitment within Central & Eastern Europe. In January 1996 Norrie relocated to Nicholson International's office in Budapest, Hungary as Country Manager. He became Regional Director for Nicholson International’s CEE & NE business in May 1999. He joined CV-Online in February 2001 as CEO to develop the leading online business, a new traditional recruitment business and to develop the company into a leading supplier of HR and recruitment software.
