Sergio Giacoletto is Executive Vice President of Oracle Corporation, responsible for managing Oracle’s operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and is a member of the Executive Committee. Mr. Giacoletto was previously responsible for Business Solutions and Consulting in EMEA. Prior to joining Oracle in 1997, Mr. Giacoletto held several management positions at companies including AT&T and Digital Equipment. At AT&T Mr. Giacoletto was President of Value Added Services. During his time at Digital Equipment, he served as Vice President of Services Division for Europe, Middle East and Africa and Chief Information Officer for Digital Europe. Mr. Giacoletto has served on various company boards and information technology industry associations including the Conference Board for Information Management where he serves as Chairman. Mr. Giacoletto co-authored the book "Information in the Enterprise: It's More than Technology." Mr. Giacoletto holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Turin, Italy. He lives in Geneva, Switzerland.
