Sven-Christer Nilsson is partner and co-founder of Startupfactory, a venture capital company focusing on early-stage investments in the IT and Telecommunications market and specifically in enabling technologies for a mobile Internet. From 1982 to 1999 Mr Nilsson held various executive positions with the Ericsson Group and he served as President and Chief Executive Officer 1998-1999. He has a vast experience from the global wireless industry and in introducing modern technologies and services to the communications market, mobile and fixed. In addition to Startupfactory B.V. and its portfolio companies Mr. Nilsson serves on the Board of Directors of ASSA ABLOY AB (locks and security equipment), Parthus Llc (Ireland; a microelectronics products company serving the wireless industry) and Traction AB (an investment company). He is further the Chairman of UTFORS AB (a B2B broadband operator). Mr. Nilsson holds a degree in Computer Science from Lund University, Sweden.
