Ulf Avrin
President, Ericsson Microsoft Mobile Venture AB

Prior to joining the Mobile Venture Avrin was head of Business Control and Service Development at Guide Konsult AB, an IT consultancy group based in Stockholm, Sweden. Avrin also oversaw the operations and final due diligence of the company´s merger with Framfab. Avrin previously held various positions at Ericsson for over a decade, the most recent being Vice President and General Manager of Ericsson Mobile Internet Applications, a start-up product unit. His duties centered on establishing Ericsson in the mobile Internet applications market and building it into a viable business. Other positions held at Ericsson have covered markets such as Australia and the Middle East. Mr. Avrin holds an MSc from Chalmers University of Technology, School of Engineering Physics in Gothenburg, Sweden, and an MBA from Warwick Business School, Coventry, UK.
